Contribution terms

Effective October 6, 2026. These are the ordinary terms for a new photo you upload to TailPhotos. Elements Technologies LLC operates TailPhotos. You keep the copyright.

You grant Elements Technologies LLC a non-exclusive license to host, display, resize, crop, embed, and make technical copies of that photo on the Tail properties it operates now, and on future Tail properties it operates. This includes TailPhotos, TailNews, TailExchange, TailShare, TailVideos, and Tail ID, and the aircraft, registration, and airport pages on those properties.

This license is display on those Tail properties. It does not license an unrelated customer. It is not a stock-library resale and not an onward sublicense. It does not give permission to train or fine-tune an AI model on your photo, or to supply your photo as model-training data.

The paid First Catch agreement is separate. A paid license starts only after Tail actually pays for that photograph, and only under the First Catch terms accepted for it. These ordinary terms do not add that paid license.

Elements Technologies LLC may assign this display agreement only to a future Tail Group C corporation, or another successor, that owns or operates the Tail properties and assumes these protections. The successor steps into Tail's obligations. This is not a transfer of your copyright. It does not license an unrelated company. No such company is named here, and none is described as already formed.

We credit you on the photo page for your original photo. Credit may not appear on every resized copy, thumbnail, or share card. These terms do not change a Creative Commons or other license on a photograph you did not take, and they do not remove attribution or ShareAlike from that license.
